The Hartford
Courant's WDAK was one of the first stations in CT, commencing
broadcasting in 1922 (but only lasting about 18 months). This is
a photo of a WDAK broadcast from the Hartford Courant archives online.
The person on the left is Vice President Calvin Coolidge, and the
person on the right would later be Travelers Broadcasting Service,
Dept-Radio Plant & Engineering Plant Manager J.C. Randall.
