When WTIC first went on the air it was afternoon week days sign on. The Council of Churches was offered one of the days. We produced a program, "Your Child's Faith" designed for mothers.
Mrs. Johnston was Director of Christian Education at Broadview Congregational Church. She and her husband were from the deep south, and she had a wonderful voice - as well as being wise! The kids at church used her nickname, Sugah .
The photo is also a memory 'provoker'. Remember when most of the lighting was 'scoops'?
